Pura Tirta Empul

My long forgotten Bali entries! I have to say I miss Bali. A lot. Partly was because I planned this entire trip on where to go, the food to eat and place to stay. It feels really good to be doing the homework because you actually discover more from that. My sources basically came from LYN Forum as well as various write ups by bloggers. That was how I came to discover Pura Tirta Empul. Pura which also means temple is highly recommended by everyone who have been to Bali.
The symbolic place in Pura Tirta Empul where many came in the pool filled with sacred water. They will first make an offering and pray in the temple before bathing in the pool.

There are a few different pools of the sacred water and each pool serves a different purpose such as healing sickness and for better health
The correct way of doing it is basically to wash from head first
The water source from the pool came from this pool at the back. The water actually came from the underwater fountain.

The underwater fountain
We had to put on the cloth to cover our legs since we're all wearing shorts and skirts as a sign of respect
They have really beautiful carvings on their entrance/doors
Spotted a huge spider which has it's web in between the entrance
Love this picture, can't resist to post it up. My block dress looks so colourful in contrast with the door.
Spotted the perfect place for lunch; Pizza Bagus in Ubud town. You just have to try it. It is recommended by a lot of people too.
Pizza Bagus gives the cosy homey feeling =)
This greeted us when we walked in.
Look at the various types of cheese they have!
We were a little off the lunch time so it was pretty quiet.
I cannot remember the name of the pizzas we ordered but boy it was really good.
I remembered this one came with the blue cheese and it was yummeh!
Their mushroom soup was thick with mushrooms. Some may not like it that way.

Last but not least...
Ahh...how I looked so different with my hair long.

Diana Mini

I know, I know! This space has been really quiet lately. Well, that is only because work has taken up all my time. On most of the weekdays I am working up to 8pm to 9pm. Here goes my social life. Not that I have a really happening one but this one just make it worse. Workload has been  increasing as well as there are some changes in the team and some project going on. Wish I could ask for additional manpower to help me out.Ok, let's talk happier stuff! I need to show all of you something!
Something arrives in the mail for me! =)
Super excited when I saw the DHL package sitting on my receptionist desk because I never expected it to arrive early due to all the public holidays.

Ta-Da! After months of stalking www.lomography.com and looking at her, I finally own her! Bought it at only RM291 with the hotshoe (flash) together.
I have been deciding back and forth between La Sardina and Diana Mini but decided that I like this baby more.
Finally oh finally she comes to my doorstep!
And I have been hooked to her ever since then. Took me a few months to decide if I should own another one since I have already have a real basic Superheadz Ultra Wide & Slim. Finally decided that I should get it when I have been stalking the site 24/7.

And Shin Ling got hooked on analogue so she went and got herself an Aquapix Lomo. Cannot wait to see the outcome if we ever bring it to the pool or beach.

Next entry will be the first two rolls from the Diana Mini, Oh yeah by the way, Happy Valentine's Day!

I am still using the Superheadz UWS and even though it is a simple point and shoot, it has never fail to surprise me. =)

This was taken at the jetty while waiting for the ferry

I made my parents stopped the car by the road side so that I can take these pictures...and it is totally worth it!

This was at The Eagle Square

Super super hot and sunny day!

Love the dark corners on the picture and the sea!

And I shall end it with another self attempt shot!
